Earth Day - Planet vs Plastic

On the 22nd of April, the focus for Earth Day was 'Planet vs Plastic'. It was an engaging opportunity for children to delve into the importance of caring for our planet. Throughout the day, the students learned about sustainable practices, discussed what actions they can take to make a positive impact, and explored behaviours to avoid. In class, they participated in various activities such as creating informative posters to spread awareness, researching innovative ideas on how to safeguard our Earth, and studying the detrimental effects of plastic pollution on our planet. It was heartening to witness the enthusiasm and dedication with which the children approached these tasks, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and acommitment to preserving our precious planet for future generations.
