Diwali Celebrations

On Friday 8th November we celebrated Diwali across the school. Year 2 held a fantastic assembly discussing the origins of Diwali and why it is celebrated. All children had the opportunity to dress up in their own traditional clothes and we got to see some fantastic and very smart outfits. We also kindly had parents and staff selling traditional Indian snacks after school. All profits were kindly donated towards the school. The food was absolutely amazing and we really appreciate the community spirit from all of you.
