Science

At TLHP, our intent is to provide every child with a high-quality Science education. Our curriculum is designed to develop the natural curiosity of our learners and support them in asking questions and finding answers about the world in which they live. The aim is for scientific enquiry to form a common thread through the curriculum, allowing learners ample opportunities to develop a rich scientific vocabulary and develop a scientific approach through collaboration and discussion. Our curriculum is designed to engage pupils and promote a love of learning through use of the outdoor learning environment and museum learning experiences. The impact of our curriculum is that pupils leave TLHP school with the subject knowledge, skills, and confidence to continue learning at KS3.
