RE
BackAt The Langley Heritage Primary, we believe that it is important for all our pupils to learn from and about religion, so that they understand the world around them. The aim of Religious Education in our school is to help children to acquire and develop knowledge and understanding of the religions that reflect our community. This enables our children to feel confident enough to make reasoned and informed judgements about religious and moral issues and enhance their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. The basic principles of an effective RE curriculum relies upon enquiry-based learning. This approach enables children to become leaders of their own learning, which not only builds their resilience but also allows them to reflect on their contributions to society. As such, RE at The Langley Heritage is invaluable in an ever changing and increasing interconnected world.
N.B. Parents and carers have the right to withdraw their child from all or part of RE.
